Michelin star for Pearl by Paul Proffiitt !

Not even 3 months after we opened the doors of our new restaurant, in June 2025 we at Pearl by Paul Proffiitt have received our first Michelin star. We cannot express how much it means. Thank you to our amazing team, our lovely guests and thank you to everyone who has been a part of this dream. You are all a huge part of this success! We cook with our heart, and we are so grateful to be recognized in this way. This is just the beginning. One day at a time, one plate at a time: This is Pearl.

DKK 438,000 raised for Julemærkehjemmet Fjordmark

It was a proud chef, Paul Proffitt, who on Midsummer Eve was able to present Jesper Lildholdt, director of Julemærkehjemmet Fjordmark in Kollund, with a check for DKK 438,000. The money was the result of that evening’s charity dinner at Restaurant Pearl by Paul Proffitt in Sønderhav. Earlier in the evening, he and his team served a special menu for the 48 guests, who had each paid DKK 3,500 for the unique Midsummer experience, which in addition to food and wine also featured an auction, where guests could bid on artworks by Michael Kvium and Erik A. Frandsen, an exclusive espresso machine and a stay at Dyvig Badehotel.
